Lachine Real Estate

Are you looking for an investment property? Where do you look? Have you thought of Lachine, Quebec

?
In the last 6 years quite a bit has happened. The Lachine Canal got an 100 million dollar face lift. The Lachine market is now a rival to the Atwater, and continuously growing. The East part of Lachine is quickly being bought up and renovated, so the “less actractive” part of town is getting a face lift. And on September 10, 2007, there was a position paper from Lachine requesting the return of streetcars.

“Now famous for the quality and diversity of its cultural activities, its wealth of historical heritage, the beauty of its parks, the cleanliness of its streets and its dynamic community life, Lachine has become a choice destination for entertainment and residence alike.”

“Rents and property prices are going up and now they are building a road to connect Victoria Street to Ville St-Pierre in which will allow an express bus to finally make things easier for people relying on public transport.

I definitely share the same opinion of Lachine. We just bought a cottage on the 40th avenue. We are now considering buying a duplex to rent out. It is like a heaven in Montreal with its marina, historical heritage, beautiful waterfront, trendy restaurants, market place and millions of parks.
