These two seem to be the last place on the West part of Montreal that you can get a nice 3 bedroom bungalow with a finished basement, large yard and with or without a garage for around $300,000. Most of the real estate homes were built in the 1940-1950’s and have had lots of upgrades done to them.Dorval. Dorval is divided into 4 parts: North, South East, South West and Waterfront. The housing prices start in the lower $100K for real small fixer-uppers and up to dollars in the millions for the mansions on the waterfront. <p>In the North part of Dorval, you can certainly get a bang for your buck. The homes are a little bit less then the well sought after South West area. A lot of people are worried about the planes. Talking to people living in the area, it all depends on you and what you are willing to live with. I know people who say that they can’t even hear them anymore and some say that they just can’t deal with it. The busiest time for the planes in around 5:00pm, so I suggest if you are interested in buying a home in that area, to go and stand around for an hour and check it out to determine whether it’s acceptable for you.</p>
<p>Cote St-Luc. Cote St-Luc is a cute area, a little bit further from the 20 and is known for it’s cul-de-sac and little green patches which they call parks. The area is divided into 4 sections that are around Westminister.
