Cote-St-Luc in 2006
Cote-St-Luc is in my opinion, the last frontier for buying real estate. This seems to be one of the last place on the West part of Montreal that you can get a nice 3 bedroom bungalow with a finished basement, large yard and with or without a garage for around $300,000. Most of the real estate homes were built in the 1940-1950’s and have had lots of upgrades done to them.
February 2019 update
Cote-St-Luc area, the prices have gone up quite a bit, starting at $465K. There is one other under $500K, and then the price jumps up to $600K quite rapidly.

Cote–St-Luc
Cote-St-Luc is a cute area, a little bit further from the 20 and is known for its cul-de-sac and little green patches, which they call parks. The area is divided into 4 sections that are around Westminister.
