What is the protocol? Most people don’t seem to know. I must admit it to be very frustrating on my part sometimes. I am a committed professional doing my utmost best and it is challenging to teach new buyers.
These are simple suggestions that you might like to incorporate into your “working with an agent” lifestyle.

1. Call your agent back. No matter what; even if you don’t or can’t work with them anymore.

2. Tell other agents that you are already working with someone. Get your agent to give you some of his/her cards that you can give them if you go to open houses on your own.

3. Let the agent organize everything for you. If you find a property that you want to visit, call them right away and they will call the listing agent.

4. Be honest and keep them informed. If you have changed your mind for an area, size, shape, location, let them know right away.

5. Stay focused on your wish list!
